Great resort service non existent
It’s a beautiful hotel and we actually stayed in a deluxe room which was spacious and had a lovely view, I would also add the hotel location is pretty good as you are close to bars, restaurants and a shopping mall.
All I can say is that everything was just a pain; from ordering extra towels to water to toilet paper housekeeping was either very eco friendly or downright stingy with key items (we have a 6 year old she is going to get dirty and need to get clean more than once or twice a day).
The worst part was the F and B service or lack thereof; there is simply no real coordination so the pool bar has some drinks but not others and if it involves the beach bar then heaven help you. Every time it was 20 minutes to get drinks and wait for it, service is added to every order “by the system”… I had this out with the server and when we got past the “system makes me, can’t do anything” phase she did remove the 10% service begrudgingly and I later raised this to the duty manager …do I think anything meaningful will get done about this no.
If you’re ok waiting 20 mins for a drink like a beer that needs a top taken off (not done when they delivered the bottle) and you are that laid back then enjoy- otherwise steer clear hotels staffed like this don’t deserve to be busy there are far better hotels where they are truly on it available so avoid this one, I fear it’s had it’s day
