The Shore Apartments

On arrival with 2 small kids in toe we had booked an ocean view apartment with a kitchen and recieved a room that only had tea and coffee facilities. Then shown another room that actually had a kitchen and not just a kitchenette on the street side with no ocean views as requested. I was then told to pick these are the options. By this time my 2.5yr old was screaming in the car as i had to leave them there to check the second room. With a car full of groceries to cook for the stay i didnt receive what i asked for on wotif... false advertising.... i would not stay i have been trying to get my money back every since and they wont give it back. In a time that we are in at the moment this behaviour is inexcusable. I do not recommend The Shore Apartments to stay at i would give the a 0 in review and to deal with they are rude and non understanding. Still waiting to receive my money back for a holiday i could not take as the room wasnt what i was asking for kitchen NOT kitchenette and ocean views!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE IF YOU ARE A FAMILY NOT SUITABLE.

Great location, views and value with friendly staff.

Great location. Super clean Apt. Had everything we needed, including an oven. Amazing views too. Staff at reception were lovely & helpful. Would definitely recommend & would stay here again.

Lovely staff and clean comfortable apartment balcony with sea view and short walk to beach could not have asked for better would definitely recommend this place to stay and very convenient for shops etc would definitely stay there again

Arrived to Shore Apartment and greeted by friendly check in. Unfortunately, that was the only compliment I can give. The lift was snail slow, whole building was stuffy. Got to room, windows open just a fraction and because there was no A/C, no balcony, it was hot and humid and basically miserably uncomfortable. The lounge room was not comfy at all. A very basic 2 seater couch and all tiles throughout made the place even more uncomfortable. Kids could not lay on the floor to just fall asleep, they had to sleep on uncomfy 2 seater. The dining, kitchen was so basically set up with cheap furniture. The place is old and needs improvement. Finally, you can hear everything from every unit on the entire floor, it just somehow echoed and because everyone was in in need of oxygen, every crack that could be opened, was opened. Every Time I got into the lift, into the foyer or hallway, visitors were complaining about the same things. I do not recommend this place especially for comfort. We didnt end up staying our second night, we found elsewhere and so glad we did.

Just a few days away at the Gold Coast. Friendly management nothing was too much trouble and always greeted with a big smile . Comfortable bed very functional apartment but the street noise was a disappointment.

Location v good. Needs a balcony to enjoy ocean views Blinds in kitchen worn out didn’t hide hot sun especially in morning Need air conditioning as it gets hot the fans not enough No washing machine in apartment Have to share which we didn’t like it Compared to price it’s expensive

There was no air conditioning and it was boiling hot!!
