Excellent place!.. Location cannot be better, you are right at the beach, pool at the 3rd floor is very cool, relaxing, very nice music and friendly bartenders. This is a pet friendly hotel. I brought my dog and he had so much fun playing at the beach. Thank you very much to all personnel at Villas Tiburon, my stay was fantastic

We love Villas Tiburon! The staff is wonderful! They go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and the property overall is beautiful and very well kept. We had a great time and plan to return soon!

Misrepresentation and dissatisfaction
The biggest issue was the WiFi was nearly non existent. We brought the issue to the front desk manager and were told it was because the distance between the hotel and tower on the island. We had to check out after just one night of our 3 night booking as we had to work some while on vacation and internet connection was required to work. It is fundamentally a misrepresentation to say the hotel has WiFi. No partial refund was offered. Other complaints include very hard bed, very poor water pressure in the shower and ocean view room where you could barely see any water (ground floor).

The best of both worlds in Holbox
We stayed on Villas Tiburon in November and had an amazing experience. The location, about a 20 min walk AWAY from the city centre was the best of both worlds. On one hand, we had a quiet hotel with a couple nice restaurants close by and a very clean beach with loungers and even sea hammocks. On the other hand, the sand road to town was a safe and easy walk at all hours if we wanted to get more variety for restaurants, coffee, and things to do. We highly recommend taking a taxi ($50 pesos) to the Villa when you arrive & leave as the sand road is not great for roller bags. You can rent bikes and such at the hotel; or walk 5 minutes to rent paddle boards and sea kayaks. The Alma bar (on the roof) offers a great view of Holbox and the pool (also on the roof) is a great place to mingle. The staff were top notch & very friendly. The hotel and room was very clean and nicely decorated. Honestly, there is nothing negative about staying here. You'll be very happy you did.

There was private beach access which was nice. There’s a bar right by the beach and they will deliver to the beach. There is a small Pool in the upstairs bar. It has a great view to the water. The room was huge with beds in two separate parts of the room. The beds were pretty hard but were fine. The bathroom was pretty small.
