We loved our stay. Perched high in the mountains, an easy stroll into town. Nimal is a wonderful host, so friendly and knowledgeable. Yummy breakfasts.

Nimal (owner) is awesome. He met us at check-in, was super friendly and helpful with arranging transportation for us to get in and out of Ella. Awesome breakfast too. Great hotel room but it is always the people that make it feel like home.

Stayed for 2 nights in November in the family room with mountain view & our own roof terrace with table, chairs & hammocks. Our room was very nice, clean & the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a good size. The breakfast was delicious & the view from the roof terrace was great & we were lucky enough to watch a giant squirrel building it's nest at the top of a tree, as well as see some tiny squirrels & it was lovely to see & hear the birds singing early in the morning. The owner Nimal was welcoming & very friendly & helpful. It's a short tuktuk ride into the centre, or you can walk - take a torch if walking in the dark There is a nice restaurant very close to the hotel too.

Terrasse de la chambre avec vue magnifique ! Nous étions avec nos deux enfants. Climatisation fonctionne très mal . Gros bémol pour l’attitude du propriétaire qui je pense est sympa avec les clients réservant d’autres prestations avec lui ce qui ne fut notre cas puisqu’un guide nous accompagnait . Pour se rendre de l’hébergement au centre d’Ella il vous propose un tuk tuk pour 900 RS ( 300 Rs sur l’application pick me !!!) . Comme nous n’avons rien réservé par son intermédiaire, il nous a facturé les 3 bouteilles d’eau présentes dans la chambre avant de partir alors qu’il n’était pas spécifié qu’elles étaient payantes !!! Bref , ce n’est pas l’attitude que nous avons vue dans les autres hébergements durant notre trip de 15 jours au Sri Lanka .
