Lovely Stay at a comfortable Ryokan
Comfortable and authentic Ryokan experience. We opted in for a private bathroom traditional Japanese bed type room. A very comfortable stay indeed. It’s not in an area where you can just walk to restaurants though, if that’s something is important to you, will need to consider. Not a bad location though, we used a mixture of bus, subway and taxi and was no problem at all. I’d say the public bath is quite small and not as good as some other ones we’ve stayed but fitting for the budget. I’d recommend, and will consider staying again in the future!

It was amazing stay in Kyoto. Place was clean and service given were excellent. The location is slightly far from the main strip but once we found the bus schedule we managed. Breakfast was delicious but was pricey.

Amazing experience with Traditional Japanese style accommodation. The place is very clean and the mattress is super comfortable. Two of us booked a room up to 5pax, which is huge. There is private toilet and bathroom in our room. It is also a good experience to go to public bath. The double layer windows block all noise from the street. It is a quiet area anyway. There is PiPPA bike parking nearby. Thank you for the gentleman who carried my super heavy suitcase to our room. Salute!

Family ryokan holiday in Kyoto
Good facilities with onsen and free washing machine/dryer. Clean. Location a bit away from rail lines, but well covered by buses. Pity they do not host meals.

Perfect Ryokan Experience
I have always wanted to stay at a Ryokan and this was the perfect experience. The ofuro was very relaxing with a beautiful garden to view from the soaking tub, room was clean, and it felt very private. It was the ryokan experience I had always dreamed of! I would totally recommend. However, it is a traditional ryokan with tatami mats and thin futons. My father did say that sleeping on the floor like that was really hard on him, so understand what you’re getting into before booking.

Gorgeous Ryokan Hotel
I and wife stayed here for 4 nights, what a gorgeous experience stay in this traditional Japanese Ryokan hotel. The room was very big, immaculate clean and comfortable, looks like newly renovated. The room has a separate Shower/tub, toilet and sink, good quality toiletries were provided. Everyday the tea, coffee and cookies were replenished. The owner, Nakamura san and night duty staff, Hiroshi san were friendly and helpful in guiding how to get to each location. Wifi was good in the room. The hotel is located about 10 mins. walk from the Jingu-Marutamachi Station. All in all very satisfied and highly recommend this place to anyone.
