What an excellent place to make my base out of in Italy. The location is 100 yards from a tram stop that takes you wherever you need to go and very close to a Metro station as well. There are shops including a supermarket and good places to eat nearby and the place itself is lovely! My wife and I arrived tired on a hot 28c afternoon (we are from the North of England where such numbers are only read of in whispers), clicked on the coldest aircon I have ever witnessed and cooled in our room for two hours.
En-suite toilet and shower was excellent and clean, the bed large and the room was not cramped. Accessing was by lockbox outside the room to get the key which you put back when you leave and there is no real cause to actually see any staff unless something is needed.
My communication with the staff was excellent. I had booked to stay 5 nights, each night I ate great food, saw the sights, felt very safe and returned here to a good sleep.
You are part of a four room bedroom apartment - there is a shared kitchen space with microwave, coffee machine I never managed to work out and a kettle (which I did) and a hairdrier and some other amenities.
Price - 10/10 - seriously, central Rome in the art district at this price is a STEAL. The locals are really friendly. I do not speak Italian, to my shame, however the small amount I did speak was well recieved and the locals were more than happy to accomodate. I ate at the local fish resteraunt and the food... oooh. LOVED IT.
