I booked this room 4 weeks in advance for the upcoming Easter weekend. We were looking for something in Cherry Grove that was relaxing. We were very disappointed in the room. I’ve got more space in a camper. The room was not clean, had not been kept up, and had roaches. After moving all of our luggage in, we got a call from the rental office telling me that we had the wrong room and we had to come back to get it corrected. I informed them that we had already put all our luggage inside and asked if they could bring the other room key. She said that she could try to find someone to bring it but I still had to come back to turn in my keys to the room I was in. The office is several miles away from the condo. She stated that the guy was waiting their for this room and then proceeded to tell me that if I had looked at my paperwork that she gave me that I would have seen that it didn’t have my name on it. I informed her that if she would have looked at the paperwork before handing it to me that she would have seen that it was not mine. Long story short, the guy waiting chose to take the room that we were suppose to be in and I hope it was in better condition than ours. Nowhere in the agreement did it say we would be responsible for cleaning up at the end of our stay nor do I have a problem with cleaning but it is apparent that it has not been getting cleaned. For all of the fees that were racked on, one would think they would have a maid service. This place is designed for fishing
