I had a great few days at this hotel arrived exhausted and they accommodated me with a ground floor room for Mobility issues. Tiffany was absolutely fantastic, coffee was fresh and available all hours. There was an after hours check-in and card key lock doors. Ample parking and super close to tons of restaurants. Pool was super clean hot tub available, older place but definitely five star service

Room was great for our family of 5. Kids loved the bunk beds and pool/hot tub! AC is VERY loud in the rooms, but there is another one in the kitchen so we just kept that one one throughout the night and left the bedroom one off. A good stay, just rough around the edges in terms of upkeep.

stayed here the same day as the person who left a 2/10 review. not sure what they were talking about. the value for the price was great. my room and the rest of the hotel was very clean (and smelled normal!). the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. it's also very clear when you book that it's an independent hotel, the travel lodge sign is really irrelevant if you can follow simple directions! all in all it was a really lovely stay and i would return. the bed was super comfy too! and great location.

The room was alright, I wouldn’t say it was really cleaned but it was probably wiped down. The beds were comfortable enough, and the room large enough for our two toddlers to run around! However the bathroom was tiny, and only one person fits in there at a time! The tubs are very very slippery and shallow. Hot tub is warm not hot, and the pool is FROZEN. The staff we had the pleasure of meeting were nice and fairly nonchalant, helped if you asked question but there’s an older white man who was quite rude and almost made up rules after we’d been there 3 nights already. The building is not very safe or disabled accessible.. we literally watched a woman crack her skull open on the step out of the front door. The hotel is very very old, we had a fantastic weekend. But spend that extra $20-$30 if you want that little bit of a nicer stay for sure!

You will be surprised when you pull up looking for the Rychter and instead find a worn out Travel lodge. The name change must be an attempt to escape the many horrible reviews of the old name. The photos online have clearly been touched up to hide the worn out appearance. Once inside the room was clean, and the beds ok. There were tiny ants crawling around in the bathroom. The building had a stale smoky murk lingering in all common areas. We will certainly never visit again

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean. The Air conditioner and the heating system were working great. The pool/tub timings were a little bit tricky, it was 10 am -10:30 pm. If they could change it from 8am or extend it to 11:00 pm would be great. Overall satisfactory service.

Overall, the place was nice and a decent location. The main issue is with the pool/hot tub. Hot tub was a little cool, but aside from that, the pool and hot tub area closes at 8:30 nightly. Of the 2 days I was there, the pool was already closed at 7:30. When you work a shift, then have to have dinner, 8:30 left very little time for a nice soak. And 7:30 was just unacceptable!

⭐ Very Disappointing – Poorly Maintained and Unclean Unfortunately, this hotel was extremely disappointing. The building itself looks dilapidated and poorly maintained, and the common areas were visibly dirty. The walls and carpets throughout were filthy and gave the entire property a neglected, run-down feeling. There are no staff on site, as check-in is completely self-service, which only adds to the impression that the property is not being properly managed or maintained. Our room was no better. The wallpaper was peeling, there appeared to be mold on the ceiling directly above the shower, and the bedskirt had visible stains. These are not minor cosmetic issues — they raise serious concerns about cleanliness and overall upkeep. The property needs significant maintenance, a thorough deep cleaning, and much more attention to basic standards of hospitality. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here.

Location is nice, able to quickly walk to nearby restaurants, or quick drive to places like the silver chalice. The rooms were clean, some furniture damage but only little things on wood. The tv was amazing, it was fairly large and had a roku. Wifi was reliable, no more breakfast, even when we had booked it still said it was included, unfortunate timing. The pool was nice, looks same as the photo, hot tub was a little bit on the scorching side, but may just be a preference. AC and heat was wonderful, worked well and could be easily accessed. No bed bugs after a thorough check, and all furniture seemed clean, however, the floor seemed like it could use a revamp, but is expected for it. Bathroom was nice, little cramped with legs touching the door when you close it. Overall, I think that it was a 7/10.

The hotel was not as advertised. The name on the hotel was travelodge not rychter hotel. It was a vey tired hotel with smell of mould and dirty carpets. People were smoking in the hall. We did not stay and of course did not get a refund. It was worth the cost to just walk away. Very dissapointed that this hotel was on expedia. Some compensation from expedia would be appreciated.
