We had a very nice stay. The hotel was clean, new, and the staff was friendly. Our only issue was with the pet policy. At check-in, I specifically asked if our small dog could be with us in the breakfast dining area, since we had nowhere to leave her, and we were told yes. Both mornings, we kept her secured, under control, and away from the food and other guests. There was no one else in the dining area when we arrived, yet we were told that dogs were not allowed. If this was the policy, we should have been told at check-in, especially after specifically asking. There were also no signs in the dining area stating that dogs were prohibited. I believe the hotel should make this policy clear and consistent for guests. Because of this, I’m giving 3 stars. Otherwise, we had a great stay.
