disappointing stay
The hotel is at a very convenient location, with easy access to a range of cafes and restaurants. A convenient store and a mini supermarket are just next door. Interesting shops could be found in the vicinity. Subway and bus stations are within easy walking distance. Our requests for adjoining rooms has been efficiently arranged upon arrival. Our stay has been to our satisfaction but our last morning has been disastrous. We were woken up from 5:30am intermittently by drilling noises and hammering sounds. We called the reception after being disturbed three times by the irritating noises from 5:30am to 6am. We again called after 6:30am as the noises have not subsided after our first call. We got a reply which was totally unacceptable. The receptionist advised that the floor below on the 2/F has an urgent deadline to meet and the renovation needed to be completed on the day. She reassured us that the workman has been advised to stop all the work. However this had never been materialised and we could not stand the noises anymore. We had to make a third call to complain. As the situation has not improved , we have no alternative but to check out soon after. What a disappointment to our stay. What a disappointment to the management of the hotel.....

Center of Seoul
The hotel’s location was perfect! The staff was amazing. They We’re friendly and spoke English. We went on a three day two night tour and they held our luggage for us until our return back to their hotel for one additional night. They also had a washer and dryer. Another positive thing was they had an American electrical outlet. However, The non smoking room smelled like smoke, the shower head was leaking and had no water pressure.

Great stay, amazing location!
My friend and I spent two nights at the Center Mark Hotel. We chose it based on a blog that included it as a good option due to its location between the popular Insa-Dong and Myeong-Dong areas. We were not disappointed! The location is the best part. We were lucky enough to be introduced to an adorable hidden gem nearby by a local friend: the Ikseon-dong Hanok Alley area. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Highly recommend that you head over there, and especially visit the Art Monster brewery! The service at the hotel was excellent. Everyone was extremely polite, friendly, and spoke great English. We really enjoyed it. My only single complaint is that there were no complimentary umbrellas for hotel guests. That is very rare in Asia - in fact I cannot think of a single other hotel of this caliber that has not had umbrellas for guests. We had an unexpected rainy day during our stay so I inquired about umbrellas at the desk. I was told I would need to purchase one, but the umbrellas they had for purchase are full-sized (not collapsible) and thus would not fit in the carryon luggage I’d brought. This would mean my purchase would then have to be thrown away or left in the room. This is a very silly policy. Please reconsider either having complimentary umbrellas or allowing guests to rent them with a refundable deposit. Or, if you insist on selling them, offer small collapsible umbrellas that the guests can at least travel back home with. Otherwise, great!

Clean, comfy, simple rooms with a great tub
Wonderfully clean space with a super comfy bed. The big tub in the sparkling bathroom was a nice option to have. There is a grocery store right next door! However, there are no bedside tables (seems like a weird omossion) and not quite enough outlets for 2 people at the desk area. The air conditioning was poorly functional and it was a bit too stuffy in the room, which seems standard for Korean hotel rooms with central air.
