Great for city, station and great owner
Great location for Christchurch city break and proximity to station for the awesome Tranzalpine rail journey. Very good food nearby too. Accommodation ideal in every way but what makes this place really special is the owner Jessica who goes above and beyond to make sure guests have and know everything to make their visit work, even taking guests to and from the station if required.

Bit of an older motel but the service was excellent and the room comfortable enough. We even got dropped off at the train station as part of the service. Great location if you are planning on going for a Crusaders or All Black rugby game.

Clean, basic motel that is the closest to the departure point of the TranzAlpine train. Many eating places nearby and the CBD in walking distance (or a cheap Uber). Recommend.

great location. We walked to the train station and downtown. nice little kitchen. Jessica the property manager was absolutely lovely. Slow internet. Bed was just ok. Very good value for the money

This is an excellent place to stay. Jessica (The owner) was very friendly and extremely helpful. The property is very close to the train station and just a short walk to buses that take you into Christchurch. There are shops and restaurants nearby. Property was very clean. Would highly recommend.

The Wi-Fi is very very weak. Mostly the Wi-Fi doesn’t work at all. When most of the hotel guest are using the Wi-Fi it simply will not work. Only if you wake up at 3 AM and no one is using it then it might work. But even then it will work very very slowly!

A gem!
A one-night stay before taking the coastal express up to Picton. On arrival, the manager offered to drive me to the station the next morning at 6.30 for free! Very clean, comfortable bed, a jug of fresh milk was provided (I love that touch!). About 20 minutes to walk downtown, through the park, for an excellent meal at the Old Government Buildings. I'll certainly stay here next time I come to Christchurch!
