Great hotel, poor service and experience
Overall 6 night stay was ok. Check in experience and service were terrible as I received worse treatment from being profiled. I saw several people in front of me who were able to check in early (1pm) without an early check in. The service desk ended up helping the people behind me in line before me. Not sure why this was the case as I was clearly in the front of the line. I asked for early check in as I had just gotten off a 10 hr transatlantic flight and was told that I had to wait another 2 hrs because check in was at 3pm. When I asked if there were other rooms available, I was told that because I booked a certain room, I had to wait. No recommendations (which were provided to all of the white patrons in front and behind me) for food or for any use of the spa or other services (water, restroom) were given to me. I cannot help but think I received different treatment because of my appearance (race, age). This was an extremely disappointing first impression as a business traveler staying for 6 nights; especially since this hotel was recommended by my employer.

My husband and I stayed at the Marker after our wedding 2 days prior … relaxing in the spa and top quality room service food was exactly what was needed to recoup after a weekend of celebrations! The staff were very welcoming and attentive, upgrading our room and leaving a lovely congratulations gift for us. There was underground parking and the location of the hotel was ideal for onward travel to Dublin port, without having to pass through city centre traffic.
