Love the hotel and the staff
I can’t tell you how much I loved this hotel. It doesn’t brag a panoramic view, but it is one of my favorite hotels of all time. It was clean, quiet, and the had great hot water. Antiques everywhere - I loved it. I don’t usually write long reviews or take showers at hotels if I can avoid it, but the water pressure and temperature was amazing. I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels that were not as comfortable. Family owned - the staff was warm, friendly, and caring. Look forward to visiting friends in the future and will definitely stay at this hotel if it’s not booked. A hidden gem - resonalbly priced!

Great Littel Family-Owned Hotel
We were in town for a wedding. Our son had stayed at the JBH a few times before and liked it, so we stayed there too. We liked it very much. It's not a Hyatt or Marriott. It's a small, family owned and operated hotel in a residential neighborhood. It has a bar and restaurant which are very good. The owners are very nice people. They make you feel at home, In fact, the hotel could be described as homey. It's not fancy, and it could use some updates, but it is comfortable, safe, and welcoming. We will stay there again, for sure.
