Bad Front Desk Staff Service!
Overall stay was outrageously unaccepted from checking in to checking out. Front Desk Staff inefficiency and nastiness made us hated to ever come back to this hotel again. Only good thing is the big buffet breakfast and porters. The room is very small and water heater not even working even after we notified the front desk about it. Made us wait to get our room even it's already 2:30pm and upon checking out we were left by the inland transfers because they never even bother to inform us personally that transfers will leave within 15 minutes waiting time. It's so troublesome as the front desk didn't assist us willingly to call them or even assist a transfer to ferry terminal. We had to do it all by our own. Knowing we have 9 luggages, travelling with senior citizen and a kid. The other hotel we stayed in which is Boracay Summer Palace Resort is way cheaper and way better than this hotel from service, amenities, room and privacy.

Perfect getaway
We had a great stay! Service was excellent. Location was perfect, right in the middle of restaurants and bars, yet not noisy while inside the room.

Good for Families, Great Location, Poor WiFi
I stayed at the Boracay Uptown with my three daughters. I have been to Boracay and most areas of the Philippines many times. This was our first stay at the Uptown. When travelling in the Philippines one must remember that it is a developing country with poor infrastructure. With that said Boracay is a great place to visit with a fantastic beach and fun atmosphere. Pulses about the Uptown; great beachfront location, modern hotel, large well planned rooms, friendly English speaking staff, beautiful roof-top infinity pool with spectacular ocean views, lots of restaurants and shopping with a few minutes walk, private free beach lounges with towels, comfortable beds, high-end linens and towels, big bathroom, nice amenities Minuses; the WiFi sucks, no coverage in the rooms, overly complicated to logon - different usernames and passwords for different parts of the hotel, different procedures for Apple devices & Android, painfully slow, most rooms have no views and you must keep your window curtains closed as the windows open onto central hallways or the pool with people constantly walking by, construction on one side of the hotel - only mildly annoying since out of the room during most of the construction time, average hotel breakfast, dismal lobby. For a family of four, it was a great value as they let the extra two children stay in the room for free, including free breakfast and a free extra bed in the room. If you don,t care about WiFi or a view, this hotel is a good choice.
