Good Value - Good Location - room with a view
The Altura Suite is in a huge apartment complex located near Cerra Santa Lucia park - near the Metro, next door to a supermarket, near plenty of restaurants. The bi-lingual staff - Gabriel, Paola, Fabiola, Jose, Hugo and Gaus - are always welcoming and ready to help. They also have a relationship with a local travel agent which we used for trips to Valparaiso / Vin del Mar and Isla Negra, as we wanted to 'walk in the footsetps' of Pablo Neruda. Ask for Naomi (studying tourism) - she is the best and her english is excellent. I also recommend taking a 'free walking tour' of Santiago. The guides work for tips. Meet at Plaza de Armas at 10am (every day) in front of the Cathedral. Say 'Hola' to Alejandro from Paula and Tim. He knows his history. The Altura staff informed me that they are all from Venezuela. Our 18th floor apartment had a view of the park and the Andes Mountains. We were very lucky that during our two week stay, it only rained half a day. The apartment is fully equipped (large fridge / toaster / microwave/ dishes / pots. etc. and the bedding / towels can be exchanged, as often as you like. There is a laundry room on the 22nd floor. The floors in the common area are always being cleaned. The residents always greet eachother on the elevator. We got to meet several of them. The only downside was that the hallways are dimly lit and the hallway walls need to be painted. The pillows need to be replaced. We would definitely stay there again. It was a very good value.

Great, central location place to stay
Great apartment for stopping in Chile. In the middle of the tourist attractions, easy reach to everything. Apartment was clean and up to date. Only problem was WiFi wasn’t great.

Well located apartments but variable wifi
This was the third time we have stayed here. The first time in Tower A. Our apartment was as previously - small but effective use of space, good for self catering, comfy bed. This time, we did find loads of baby cockroaches at night in the bathroom and kitchen - squished lots! However, most difficult was the wifi. The apartment wifi didn't work so we were given a mobile wifi thing - four in three days because the battery died each time. Only on the final time, when the young man on an early Sunday was on the desk (in Tower B) could speak some English, that we were given the charger. Very difficult when our flights were running late, trying to access information. Poor wifi and a lack of language made this trip very frustrating.

Studio is residential condo at good location
It's a studio room within residential condo. The kitchen is well equipped and suitable for longer stay. The room is clean although the bed feels old and sunk in the middle. The staff is not very friendly and was not very helpful. The place is at a good location close to everything.
