Great View
Great view from our ground floor unit. Comfortable and warm. Hosts were great when we broke a wine glass on the tiles in the kitchen. Wifi dropped off in the bedroom but good in lounge area and free. ample parking and a close walk to town

Don't believe all you see.
I came to show my friends from America the Bay of Islands. We booked for 5 adults as were assured the room would be a good size and the picture looked like two bedrooms. However this unit, their largest, was only suitable for 5 very close family. The beds were a sofa double and single in the lounge and a double in a separate bedroom. When the sofa bed was opened it was touching the single bed and limited any access to amenities. The view was good however. when we said this was not big enough and not what we expected by the ads, we received a "tough luck " type response from the manager. My two friends decided to book another room but there was none and the manager didn't offer any help or even an apology for the inconvenience. He also refused to reimburse us for the two adults who were not using the unit therefore were charged for 5 occupants. Very unhelpful and frankly quite rude.

Beautiful views, spacious room, great location
We had a really lovely stay in Paihia. The motel had everything that we needed, a huge bathroom, decent sized kitchen, dining and living area, and bedroom. The views of Paihia from our living and bedroom windows were magnificent and were definitely the highlight to our stay! We were awoken by gorgeous sunrises over the water, and had a lovely garden area in front of our window also. The motel was undergoing renovations given that we were one of the very few people staying there during winter, however the workers were very quiet and mindful of guests. During the two nights we stayed here, I was disappointed that there was no housekeeping however which should be included given the price of the room. The location is perfect right on the water, and only a 5 minute walk from all of Paihia's restaurants, shops and Bay of Island cruise tours. We would definitely recommend this motel in the future to our friends and family.

Great location!
Excellent service upon arrival. Lyn was very nice and very helpful in organizing our boat trip to the Hole in the Rock and our tour of Russell. The room was clean and very nicely appointed and set out well with a separate bedroom and living area, a nice kitchen, a big bathroom and a lovely balcony overlooking the beach. The only negative issue was the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and I ended just sleeping on the lounge on the third night which was fine. Other then that I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

We will be back.
Perfectly placed Motel for shops, bars and beaches. The view from the room was amazing (room 12), living room and bedroom, from the beach below and over to Russell with the comings and goings of the various ferries. Cannot fault the room and facilities (though there was no complimentary shampoo or shower gel so make sure to bring your own). Small kitchen with everything you need for stay long or short. Fresh milk on checking in (always a bonus) and plenty of allocated parking. No need to use the car, can stroll in to town or walk to the Treaty Grounds.
