There’s a reason why it’s cheap
The staff was not super friendly or helpful. The property only had a few rooms occupied but put us in a room that had issues with running water. The tv didn’t work, there were dark markings all over the walls, the pool was operating and then not intermittently. Overall a terrible stay. When we inquired about the water at the front desk, the response was as if they knew we would be asking. They said they would “take a look” at it. Later, they informed us that it was working but only a trickle ever came out of the shower. They would not move us.

Great stay for 5 nights
Great stay from checkin to out. Very friendly staff. They did everything possible to meet our needs. Perfect beach site and very comfortable rooms. Everyone was masked and special distancing care while checking in. The shower pressure was a little lacking. Otherwise the room had it all. Actually better than the pictures. We'll certainly stay again. Gracias!

Room was small but nice. Only negative... internet did not work 2 of the 5 days we were there. Which meant no TV at night since there is only Netflix, no TV

The place was fine. Not luxurious. We had a junior room. It was small but it had sufficient closet space and microwave, dishes and a fridge. No view. It was fine for our purpose. We didn’t spend time in our room. We liked the use of lounge chairs and towels by the beach. WiFi was weak.

Hotel Arrecifes was a great place to stay in Puerto Morelos. Right on the beach, a short walk to restaurants and shops, friendly, and quiet at night. I enjoyed a spacious suite with a nice kitchen, good WiFi, comfortable bed and furnishings, and good AC that I only used a couple times, since there was an ocean breeze most nights that kept the place comfortable.

After just completing our 10 days here we would definatly be back. The staff is very friendly and if you ask for something (respectfully)they will bring. I asked for extra pillow and it was there right away. The place is very clean and the daily service is excellent. The beach area is private with palapas chairs and tables for their guests... we were greeted and shown to our room with easy checkin and some info for restaurants and services within a 10 minute walk. The small town is so nice and certainly quiet, tons of restaurants and beach bars right there... thx for a great stay ... cheers from canada
