    Poor 2.0
I am incredibly disappointed with my stay. During my stay, the hotel was understaffed—which was communicated to us, by what little angry staff you had left, many times. We were refused room service the first day because they were “out of everything and too busy”. The pool was disgusting!!!! I’m sick thinking about it. There was food, hair, dirt, and who knows what else floating in it, and was way over crowded—like double the max capacity that was posted. There was very little seating in the pool area. When we ordered drinks we were told they only had one bar tender and server for the entire hotel so it could be a while. After waiting an hour, we flagged down the manager, who was receiving a complaint from someone else, that finally brought us our two drinks. The WiFi was slow. The morning of our check-out, a staff member knocked on our door at 10am and said she needed to clear our mini bar. We weren’t quite ready to leave, but she insisted she had to get this done—awkward. I felt like we were being rushed out of the room. Our coffee and towels in the room never got replenished after the first day, so we had to call down to the cranky staff to get more and wait hours to get them. When we were able to order room service, the orders would be missing or messed up. I was not offered a room upgrade, a discount or any other VIP access. I am just appalled by the horrible experience I had there.

Upscale hotel in walking distance to Plaza
When I checked in at 5:30 p.m. and asked to ensure I had the 2 bed room I had reserved, I was told my two bed room had been given to someone else, and I could have a 1 bed room. When pressed for a reason, I was given none and offered a rollaway bed. Mind you, this room was booked at such a high price, I've only paid the same price for a room in Vail, Colorado, with a view of the mountains. This room had a view of the debris outside apartments across the street. I had stayed at this hotel and been checked in by the same staff 2 weeks prior. Needless to say, this stay was not the same as the prior stay. The room was not big enough for a rollaway bed to fit. The front desk then gave me a second room and asked repeatedly if I had disturbed the room as they would have to refresh it for another guest without realizing what it sounded like to the current guest they had currently in front of them. The second room had not fully been refreshed or prepared. Items were missing (toilet paper, not fully made bed, lights unplugged). I reminded the front desk at 7:30 p.m. and again at 10:30 p.m. that the rollaway bed had not been delivered. The bed was delivered shortly after 10:30 p.m. The front desk promised a bottle of complementary wine, which never arrived. The front desk offered to reduce the rate, but did not remember or chose not to do this either.

    Great location
Beautiful inside. We're were a little bummed there were no robes as described. We didn't know until we were in for the night and were didn't want the hassle of calling etc. We checked everywhere in the room. A little weird you can see into the bathroom to the person on the toilet due to the sliding door. Glad we did not have the kids for that reason. *I'm very persnickety on cleanliness* there were cotton balls and qtips which was cool but the plastic covering they came in had wax crud on them. White stain on the blue sectional. The walls are thin. Kids in the next room woke us up screaming about the 49ers being awesome. We loved the location because we could walk to the capital grill and the plaza lighting main stage. No parking to deal with at the plaza is great. $20 to park from 3pm to 1100 am the next day.

    Great Staff, Beautiful Hotel
The staff here is amazing. Our room was ready before check in and we were able to get in early which was nice. There is a free shuttle you can use to be transported by Tesla to within 5 miles of the hotel. The bed is really comfortable and the shower is large with a waterfall showerhead. The rooms are soundproof-no hearing people above you or running up and down hallways. I slept soundly. The room had a beautiful view and the decor is fresh and clean. The rooftop restaurant is nice. The cons of the hotel included the $20 a night extra for parking since other hotels on the plaza has free parking. There is no dresser drawers other than in the bedside table which would be difficult if staying longer than a night or two. There is no actual fridge for personal use. The mini bar is stocked full so i couldn't put the cheese i bought on the plaza in to keep it cool. And while the mini bar prices alone are not horrible- they add an additional 23%service charge on top of the price of the items in the mini fridge. The hotel is beautiful but i may stay somewhere else next time i'm on the plaza to avoid some of the extra fees.

    Plaza jewel
A quick holiday night on the on west side of the Plaza was nice. The rooms are great; but make sure to ask about the view as many of the rooms look north, directly to the law office building 30’ Away (not a good view when you are on the Plaza). The restaurant and bar were both under construction; which was not noted anywhere during reservation process and was unfortunate as you need to go elsewhere until complete. Access & Parking are great and the check in was easy....but a little slow since only one staffer was working the desk. The rooms are quiet and very nicely designed with plenty of space for 2. When the restaurant and bar are done (and the Construction areas cleaned up) this will be a jewel once again
