This is one of the nicest places we ever stayed in our 42 years of marriage! Everything is first class, 12 stars out of 10.

Loved the location of Banfi—lots of close day trips or enjoy the property if you like. We had dinner at the hotels restaurant first night (and although our baby monitor didn’t reach restaurant, receptionist thoughtfully offered to keep an ear out for us) and it was outstanding. Montalcino is fab and Pienza is a must. We enjoyed the tour of the facilities and tasting at the Enoteca as well. It’s hard to justify the price, but it was a great stay. Side note: we traveled with our 6 month old baby and hotel provided a pack and play with cute sheets, etc. and soaps for her to use. Super baby friendly. We also stopped at Casanova de Neri for a tasting and loved it—very close, very delicious, very approachable.

Great location in Tuscany, beautiful and immaculate grounds and rooms, very good service and great food. More dramatic and cinematic than the nice website. We also did the cooking class at the farmhouse and Samuele, the chef, made the day and experience unforgettable, truly outstanding. Dinner service was also exceptional, it is clear they try to nail every detail for the guests. We did not wander into the nearby small towns, so can’t comment but they’re close including Montalcino. Walking, running or biking the many many acres of Tuscan countryside and vineyards of Banfi and the pool, terraces and other common areas kept us happy. We also stayed at 5 star hotel in Rome and Villa In Positano, along with many top restaurants in both locations, and as far as quality of rooms and furnishings, amenities, common areas, grounds, service and food, Banfi was better as an overall package.

We arrived at the gate and immediately were met in the parking area by someone in a cart who assisted us with our luggage and gave us a ride to reception. Upon check-in we were given a tour of the grounds so we knew where breakfast, the restaurant, electric bikes and our room all were. It was beautiful! We went to our room and it was quite large and plush with a very comfortable bed. We had dinner reservations and were able to spend some time looking around before we needed to start getting ready. The next morning my wife became quite I'll with a tummy bug. The staff were so kind, allowing us to move around our activities and check out later so she could get some rest. Our stay at this location was a last minute addition to our vacation. We initially hoped to stay 2 days but due to other set reservations in Florence only had a day here. Beautiful grounds, spacious and comfortable accommodations and top notch service. I strongly suggest to anyone who is planning a visit that you allow at least 2+ days so that you can fully immerse yourself in the experience, it is definitely worth it!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, the staff, and our stay. Food was fantastic. Hotel was clean. Gorgeous views and sunset. We went on an outstanding Vineyard tour and tasting. Request Vincenzo! He was the best. We were so sad to leave and have booked already for next year!

Location in Tuscany cannot be beat.

Unbelievable stay for our honeymoon! This is a special hotel! Beautiful property in Montalcino. Everything was perfect! Would stay here again and definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.
