Old hotel with old amenities.
Nice old hotel, sadly power went off every day at 7am, and it had a old woody smell and not fresh. Blood was on the walls and no hot water in the sink. Air conditioner rattled at night. Good location and nice food near hotel.

I stayed there for 5 Nights in March 2023. Very helpful & friendly staff. Fantastic location for discovering Old Penang. Clean, but very (!!!) slow room service. Many times they have not made my room at 4 pm.

Good location and room is adequate. Only let down last min after the check-out: asked the front desk (Indian female in this particular case) for assistance with Grab a car to the bus terminal which was 5 mins walking distance away, she called someone then told me just wait outside but could not provide the car rego; a taxi came and mins later, again the Indian driver in this scenario charged me more than 3 times what a Grab service would ever ask. So lessons people: always use Grab when you can and don't let any hotel receptionist and her mate take advantage of you!

A beautiful heritage hotel located in a convenient location walkable to many eateries and nearby 1st Avenue Mall/Prangin Mall/Komtar Tower. Spent new year's eve watching fireworks from my hotel window. So spectacular! Thank you for making my stay a pleasant one!

Stayed in this hotel for two nights while in Penang. The location is great with a lot of the street art attractions scattered in walking distance to the hotel. The hotel room was rather basic, but was overall relatively clean. Noise from surrounding rooms was loud through the walls. Our TV did not work but this did not impact us much during the short stay. Breakfast was included in our stay, this was on the rooftop and was nice but simple. Bottled water was provided daily, but fresh towels were not provided. Staff were friendly and helpful, and provided luggage storage.
