Unique place with cozy facility
The location is excellent, right in the middle of native bush with refreshing small but warm hut. The only little issue is that it's a littie bit risky to go after a big rain as the road on the coastline might be blocked by a land slip. We got a very good welcome.

Charming and rustic
Charming comfortable chalet in a rustic environment. Deep in the woods with its own lazy river to swim or kayak in, or picnic/read beside, it was a real getaway. Our host Murray was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable - his tips about the area were great! Our cosy chalet was quiet, with a balcony to eat at and a couple of friendly visiting chickens. The kitchenette is well-equipped, with utensils, a microwave, small stove and fridge, but bring easy-to-cook food as the space is small. Overall we had a lovely stay over 2 nights!

Very Good8.0
Coromandel retreat.
Lovely chalet with a great view from the balcony. Would sleep 2 adults and 2 children in the upstairs room, but would be rather cramped if wet - better for 2/3. Dining table was undercover on the balcony. There was a bbq as well as a two burner stove and microwave. Within the extensive grounds there were some short walks and a swimming hole with kayaks available. Very nice people.

Great place to get close to nature
The location is great if you want to be close to nature. There's a nice river that runs alongside the property that you can swim and kayak in. It's very close to the national parks and beaches near Coromandel. The hosts were very welcoming when I checked in. They even gave me some dinner since it was a bit late. I stayed in one of the self-contained chalets. It was very spacious. I was by myself but you can easily sleep 3-4 people in there. The place was clean. The kitchen had all the necessary tools for preparing a quick meal. At night you can hear the river flowing by which was very soothing. The only downside was that you had to pay for internet if you needed more than 100MB on a device per day. It's also hard to get phone reception there.
