I stayed in Sofitel agadir a few years ago it was excellent so thought I’ll try out Dubai and it was amazing thanks
We booked a 2 bdrm family apartment with sea view. When arrived they tried to get us to upgrade to a room with a sea view. I told them that's what I already booked (and showed them my reservation showing it clearly stated -- sea view). They insisted that it was wrong and refused to honor the reservation. They instead put us in a ground floor apartment with no view. It was late and we were tired and frustrated, so just checked in and called hotels.com to resolve the situation. Hotels.com was able to get them to refund the remainder of our week-long stay so we could check out in the morning. In the morning when we were checking out, the manager must have seen the notes in the file and asked what he could do to get us to reconsider. It was too late, as we had already booked at The Atlantis (which was wonderful, btw!) Very disappointed in this Sofitel. I've stayed at Sofitel's all over the world, including the first half of our visit to Dubai at the Sofitel Downtown Dubai, which was excellent. Would NOT recommend!
Hotel is great , rooms are large and nice Just TV need to be upgraded it is kind if old
Good hotel except that the pool is small and crowded
Every was ok. Expect waiting too long for good car to pick us up from apartment to lobby
Beautiful hotel! Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was great with a big selection in the World Eatery. The room was amazing, everything quality and classy. Gym was also very good and the spa was also excellent. The food is pretty expensive at the hotel so generally better to head into Dubai for dinners if you don’t want to spend too much.
It had everything you might need in one place or close by
The place is in a very good location in Palm Jumeira. Besides the room cleanliness and amenities around the Hotel, the staff were amazingly supportive from the time I contacted them before my arrival to the time of my departure. Mr Azar was particularly supportive and always willing to make sure our stay was comfortable. Our check in experience was the best we have ever seen. I travelled with my family and greatly encourage families to lodge at this place.
Really friendly staff, great facilities and very accommodating especially as I was travelling with my 4month old baby. Very very child friendly.
Great amenities, despite having a lot of rooms never crowded, spacious beach, beautiful views, nice restaurants. Really nice staff and loved the room upgrade on arrival
