We were staying at The Titanic for my 50th birthday with my family, so we had 5 rooms.
My wife had booked afternoon tea, which was a complete disaster. We waited 45 minutes and nothing, then one set of afternoon tea came. The manager eventually came over but nothing was done after that. It wasn't busy at all but there didn't seem to be a lot of staff around to ask what was going on. After 1 hour of waiting my gluten free afternoon tea came and it was awful, stale and not as described on the menu. I then saw a waitress preparing my birthday cake for another table!!!
Again the manager came over, who was not very professional (calling my wife "love" all the time!!!). In the end we cancelled everything, terrible.
During our stay (2 nights), our room was never cleaned, even though we made staff aware of this.
We were refused cocktails when we got back to the hotel after our meal, it wasn't very late when we got back, about 11:30pm!!!!
It's a shame, as it's a nice looking hotel, but the staff are not well trained at all and the food is terrible. For the price I would definitely NOT recommend
