Unprofessional, unfriendly staff but clean hotel
Casavieja is advertised as an adults only inn. While my husband and I were there, dozens of teenagers were staying there on a class trip. Loud noises like, yelling, music, and doors being slammed were regular. The staff doesn’t even look up at you as you leave and enter. The space is beautiful but the staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. My husband and I didn’t receive water our second day there and we had to walk to a corner store to get clean water. We were so excited to stay here again as we regularly visit San Cristobal twice a year. Never again!!!

Exceptional 10.0
The historic quaintness of the building in general. The cordiality and helpfull nature of the staff. Not leaving coffeee packets over night, quarters are somewhat tight; not enough outlets.

A Comfortable Colonial Hotel in a Colonial City
I chose this hotel because of its colonial style. It is called”old house” and this refers to the architecture and decoration style. Unlike newer hotels, there is plenty of space: an ample lobby, lounge, sitting room with TV, and two inner patios with flowers and plants. Parking and restaurant are close by across the street. Breakfast was abundant and tasty; once more, the restaurant is large with plenty of room, with tables set for two, four, six; my wife and I were able to find our cost corner. It was windy and cold in the evening at this time of year. A heater was supplied and extra bed clothes. Everybody was kind and courteous and we had no problems at check in and check out
