I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and the owner, Paul was very friendly and interacts with his guests. Loved the breakfast, which is included. Only negative is the rooms have paper thin walls and open ceilings where any sound from other rooms and the courtyard is clearly heard.

Takes the staff a long time to warm up to guests. Hotel sells the local tours for a premium instead of trying to get a fair price. Briam thinks he is all that and a bag of chips and only takes care of his regular clients. I had to ask him 4 times for my order, he wrote it down and still did not get my order. Horrible attitude. Luis, Israel and Gabriel are great. Great location.

Fast Friendly Check In with help with luggage as they are stairs only. Nice Pool with the perfect Temperature water. I was in a Top floor room and ceiling could use a Good coat of paint and small ant problem in bathroom that was attended too promptly. Modern Air Conditioning but drained into shower but Its an Older Building and How else would give a luxury modern room controlled Air Conditioner.

Quick weekend trip from Texas.
I had a very warm welcome and easy checkin when I arrived. All of the staff were friendly and quickly took care of any requests. I would definitely stay here again, so close to everything from the beach to the bars. Stop by the bar and Jorge will take great care of you and definitely order food from the hotel, it was all amazing! I'll be back soon!

Hotel Mercurio is smack in the middle of everything. Restaurants, bars, the beach are all just a few blocks away. The room was clean. Complimentary breakfast was excellent! We had happy hour every day during our stay and met some very nice people. Overall this hotel feels like a family run businesses and you will quickly feel your saying with family. Very professional and warm staff. I would recommend to anyone.
