Not happy
We found the receptionist arrogant and smug. Ok, we had an issue with some friends who we'd booked a room for but through poor health and no guaranteed onsite parking, couldn't make it. We asked about getting a refund, and she smugly went on and on about the fact we'd booked through an online scouce and not directly to the hotel. No empathy, just a superior attitude. We only asked once! When she'd got her moneys worth talking about bookings, she mentioned smoking in a way that made us both feel she believed we were smokers. Rude! Smoking is abhorrent. And there was an ashtray in our room. Huh? One good thing she did was let us in to our room early. And there was a big long black crack in the bathroom sink. And, we booked this place because our friends needed their car close. Their ad says free parking. This is not true because our friends rang the hotel and were told there was no guarantee of a park. This is on Hotels .com website. False advertising. We are out alot of money becase we chose this hotel on face value as to parking.
