Too warm in room
The room had very limited ventilation (the window only opened two inches) so it was like a greenhouse. A fan in the room did not help. Breakfast expensive and far too much on the plate. No lift so a lot of stairs.

Horrible, horrible stay. Women: avoid.
Horrible, run-down room. Dirty windows, walls, peeling wallpaper, no bedside light, broken TV remote control held together with a plaster (!), drunk and homeless men permanently gather just near the entrance making it feel unsafe for women alone. Rude, uninterested female manager. She obviously isn’t interested in standards. Woken up at 2.30am by people (drug addicts probably) shouting in passage behind hotel, went on for half an hour. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel in the dodgiest part of the town , and don’t care about nice interiors, this is the place for you.

Great location
Check in was very quick and easy, woman on the desk was lovely. Same with check out very easy. It was just somewhere to have a sleep so did the job. Comfortable bed, multiple pillow options. It's an older hotel but better kept then some I've visited. Windows weren't very easy to manage and it was a bit dusty in places but was clean and simple so didn't want for much. Location is amazing, right on the seafront and a short walk from old town. Ample parking in the underground opposite for a decent price.
