Great location walkable from train station. Nice atmosphere, bar downstairs, breakfast is regular since it lack choices and no eggs. On the negative, find the bed a little hard and uncomfortable but sleepable. Bathrooms are ok but could be cleaner. Cant complain for the price.

Upsetting experience
I had booked one bed in a 4-bed female only dorm room. I woke up to find one of my roomates was a male (not LGBTQ2+, but just a guy). I was very upset and immediately went to the front desk to find out how this could have happened. They didn't have an answer, were apologetic and refunded my night's rate. While I appreciate this, it still should not have happened in the first place!

A lot more than I expected.
One of the best hostels Ive ever stayed in. It is very affordable and has comfortable bunk beds. Please ladies and gents take advantage of the free walking tours and the nearby bars and rooftops or otherwise toronto is a boring experience. The bathroom are a bit dirty and food is ok, drinks are good but a bit pricy at the bar. You will meet good company there, and u will not be dissapointed.

The staff was really nice and helpful and a location is great. Very convenient and walkable distance to major attractions in the city. Unfortunately i find this hostel quite dirty and facilities are a bit old. I had an unpleasant experience when one if the hostel guests helped himself with the food that I just cooked and put aside to cool down. When i reported the incident the staff assured me that they will have a chat with that person however there was no follow up so i can only assume that nothing was done. Some of the hostel guest look more like residents than acctual guests (that was my impression of a person who stole my food). Breakfast is a bit of disappointment.. very small portions and wont satisfy anyone with appetite in the morning.

Clean bed, room, bathroom. There were serval events and nightly programs. Breakfast in the basement was delicious. It was a great location I was able to walk everywhere. The bed was alright.

Toronto Vacay
Very friendly staff, super cool basement pub, great breakfast, perfect location. But, rooms were a bit dirty. I stayed about a week, trash from other guests littered our dorm even after they left. Didn't notice any housekeeping. NO lockers for belongings. Suitcases just sat out on the floor while you are out all day. There is a tiny safe for small valuables.

Hi Toronto Hostel does not read requests
I requested the lower bunk bed weeks before arrival date but not granted. I had issues with my knee . I even went back and forth to check again but denied . I know it’s a request but if only they read it , they could have done something before the guests arrival. Seems that they are not organized.
