Great place for a short getaway in Rotorua.
Great little place to stay for a short trip. Super clean, really helpful staff and a playing area right across the way for our little one. Lots of quirky things placed around. A little way out of town but very quiet and close to the Gondola and other activities. The living area was a bit small so not recommended for a long stay but great for the weekend.

The family room is spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable. Good cooking facilities provided.Wifi is good.

Country feel, but so close to town
The location is great, about a 5-10min drive in to town. Close to the tourist places like Rainbow and Fairy Springs, Ogg, etc. Only downside is that you do hear the traffic as it is located on the state highway, but didn't keep me awake.

Value for the money
Check in was good and so was our unit. Beds were comfortable and the addition of a kitchen a bonus. There was a playground with a variety of play equipment. The opportunity to feed the animals was great, they have a pair of alpacas and quite a few chickens great for our youngster. The location for us was good as most of we did was at the northern end of lake, as far as being way out it was a short drive to Rainbow Springs and the Gondola. The unit has double glazing on the road side of our unit hence making the traffic noise more than acceptable. Travelling as a family we could not find better value in Rotorua.
