The location was excellent in terms of beach, shops, grocery store, restaurants, Walmart, taxi service
ANAH is the perfect accommodations for the traveler that likes to have a home base to enjoy downtime in between adventures or exploring the town.
Location is amazing. Very close to Avenida 5, and Ave Constituyentes so lots of places to eat yummy food. The suites are very quiet so you wont hear any loud noises from nearby clubs or bars. The apartment was extremely clean and spacious, and was the perfect place to rest after a long day of activities. Highly recommended over any expensive resorts in the PDC area
Everything was great. The property is nice, the apartments are comfortable and clean. The only thing that was a little annoying was the check-in because the registration office is in the open lobby and it gets very hot. The staff in general were very nice.
We had great service all around.
Property was overall very nice. The amenities are very nice and well maintained
Can’t wait to go again!
The place was great. Very spacious. Centrally located in Playa Del Carmen. You really don’t need a car in this area. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Gym: It's worthless. Size of a walk in closet. 3 sets of baby weights, like 2 1/2, 5, and 7 1/2 lbs. Child play room: Again about the size of a walk-in closet. Nothing except foam floor matting. Pool: completely useless. Does not get afternoon sun. Cannot swim in it. The only chairs are IN the pool. Stupid design. Outside bar by pool: Sigh. Turned around and left. Hallways: Horrible condition, chipped tiles, ugly. Interior fish pond: So dark green I could not see the fish. It's almost animal cruelty. I mentioned it to the manager. They will do nothing. Room: Pretty nice, but SUPER noisy. Bed: Why do Mexicans put full size sheets on king beds as the bottom sheet? I complained and after that they used king sized sheets, but insisted on making the bed so the sheet did not go over the end of the bed, where my feet are. (My feet always hang over the end of the bed most people 6 feet and over.) EVERY DAY I had to unmake the bed and remake it properly. They line up the sheet with the foot of the bed, rather than start by tucking the sheet under the mattress at the foot. No amount of complaining did any good. Towels: Threadbare. Looks like they got them second hand from another hotel a few years ago. Really awful.. Shower: Don't get excited by a "rainfall shower" - it's more like a light drizzle. When travelling you need a standard size shower head to have any hope of decent water pressure. Soap and shampoo: THEY STINK! Refillable bottles. Internet: Usable.
