Baycourt Lakefront Motel, Taupo, New Zealand

Beautiful lakeside Motel, so close to everything n we enjoyed the view from both balcony from our room. Clean place n very friendly manger or the owner, will definitely call in again.

Had a great stay. Motel is a bit tired and better heating needed for Taupo winter temperatures

Spacious studio with kitchen etc, plenty of heating for the winter. Handy to town for eating and shopping.

We had an amazing stay. Joseph was really accommodating and took the time to explain how things work in the room. You can feel how clean the room is, unlike the one we stayed at in Rotorua! Great bathroom space too.

Just an over-nighter in this clean, modern motel unit on the ground floor. We found this unit to have the best shower and pillows that we had experienced during a week away. An easy walk away from shops and restaurants and the lovely lake just across the road.

Motel was clean and quiet and in easy walking distance of the CBD. Nice outdoor table for evening drinks. Only negative was that the windows didnt have security stays so preferred to close them during sleep time rather than being able to have an air flow through the unit

Although we have stayed here other times we found this not at all up to standard. I had 2 young preschoolers with me who did not like cold showers. The shower would be warm for a couple of seconds and then freezing cold. The sofa bed for one to sleep on would not come apart and when I asked was told I needed to move the single bed and tv to make it fit. Ridiculous. When I enquired the host seemed very uninterested in helping us and would look into it but not sorry for our stay or apologise at all. Felt couldn't care less.
