Get what you paid for
This hotel is a little run down, but you get what you paid for. Staff are all friendly, especially the night porter Beer very cheap Parking free if there is spaces, plus shutters are put down once car park is full. However, there is off street parking

Bedroom and breakfast were ok. Rest of building was tatty. Staff who checked me in and breakfast staff were polite and helpful; but the staff member who took over at 5pm and around for the evening was not. She was unhelpful and quite rude. There was no consistent WiFi and when I asked she said “nothing I can do”. Basement where breakfast was served was damp and smelly.

Good stay
We arrived after 9 pm, staff was friendly, unfortunately the car park was full and we weren’t able to park the car in the car park.

Great Hotel in Birmingham
Beautiful room, friendly welcome and only 10 minutes from the city by 97 bus which stops outside. Recommended - just one reservation, be aware it is right next to Birmingam City Football ground so can be a bit noisy and busy when home games are on, there again, that may be an advantage for you!
