Very nice, pricey and avoid ROOM 17.
We had a relaxing and pleasant stay at this hotel. The views are spectacular but you pay for this. Service is good and the food is excellent but again you pay for that. We settled for a non sea view room, try and avoid these, especially room 17, it has the kitchen extractor vent running the full length of the outside wall of the room vertically. The noise is like a jet engine and starts at 0600 when the kitchens begin work and ends at just past 2200, so ear plugs needed . Also if you open the windows your room fills with the smell of seared meat or vegetables being cooked, not all that attractive really. This did put a damper on a lovely stay, plus at nearly £250 per night for the most basic room in the hotel, I think you shouldn’t have to put up with a Boeing 737 engine strapped to the wall and operating at full throttle.

Fantastic location overlooking the beach and sea. Great restaurants. We stayed in the Lundy suite which was spacious, nicely decorated and had a lovely sea view. However the tiles in the bathroom seemed to leak water whenever the bath/shower was used. The breakfast was good - could have had some back ground music to create more of an atomosphere.

Excellent stay in stunning location
Absolutely gorgeous location, especially with an unexpected early spell of warm spring sunshine. Wonderful food and drinks on the terrace (take a hat in warm weather as a real sun trap), with the most beautiful view. Likewise for breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly. Food was excellent, everything we had was delicious, particularly the scones! Didn’t use pool or spa. Only wish we’d paid the extra for a balcony room as this would have been the icing on the cake with the weather we had. Amazing sunsets. A real treat and would highly recommend.
