The hotel is recently refurbished and is in great condition. Room size is big and facility is well maintained. The staff is super cordial and helpful/available when you need them. The location is fine, it is a 7-8 min walk to Duomo/centro. However, the sound proofing is below par. The street is extremely busy with late night bars which makes it noisy. Ear plugs are provided by the hotel. Also, it is automated (windows/Ac/lights) a bit too much and it does not work smoothly. Had awful experience managing temperature during my 3 day stay.

Receptionists are welcoming, polite, efficient, helpful and make you feel comfortable during your stay. The hotel is in an old building still being renovated with good taste in downtown Catania, a few yards from the beautiful Opera house. The area is full with open-air small tables that will let you dine with a glass of good Sicilian wine and tasty food for as little as 15 Euros. Breakfast at the hotel is outstanding, with fresh watermelon and Kiwi juices, local cheese, fresh bread and warm croissants. A kind, sweet young lady oversees the modern dining room and prepares an excellent expresso and freshly squeezed juices. The cleanliness of all premises and the kindness of the young polite staff made my experience a very pleasant one. There is some renovation work still going on, so I would recommend choosing rooms on the highest floor to shield you from some inevitable noise. There is a modern elevator to reach the rooms but the hotel could present some issues if you are not comfortable walking up a few steps to reach the dining room or crossing the crowded area in front of the discreet hotel entrance. My stay was thoroughly enjoyable and I will most certainly return.

An interesting hotel that is within a rehabbed old building in the center of Catania near the Bellini Theatre. A little hard for us to find at first, as the sign is iron and rather hard to see, was very nice and interesting. Our room was well designed and interesting. Was on the top floor, so we had to go up stairs with our bags to get there from the top of the elevator. Room had skylights but no windows, so was rather bright and there was no way to darken. Still a great experience. Breakfast room was very nice, and food was excellent.

It is not a hotel, the entrance is terrible unfinished wall with all wires around. I asked them to return the money, they didn’t Stay so faraway from these place!!!

We were there only overnight before an early morning flight. We were able to walk to dinner. Parking is an issue, unless you want to pay E20 for overnight ( in our case, less than 8 hours). We were able to find a spot a few blocks away for E2. The worst part was that we were unable to get hot water for our showers. The sign on the front of the building is difficult to see in the dark

A super elegant hotel in a great location of town. Needs some finishing in the main floor area between entrance and reception. Breakfast area is nice with display of fruits, vegetables in crates, pastas in bottles and containers on wall- shelves . Rooms are spacious, beautiful modern minimalist design. We were upgraded to superior rooms on top floor. There is an elevator, a must when you have heavy suitcases. The only issues were the temperature setting in the room, quite cold only and no hot water until this problem was solved at 8am in the morning.

Big rooms, hot showers, excellent home made breakfasts. Beautiful property.

The rooms are nice and modern. The location is very central and a close drive to the airport which I think is great for sightseeing. However, we arrived on a Saturday night and it was extremely difficult to find the location/drive nearby. It was also extremely loud and busy on the street and just outside the hotel.

Amazing room. Very cool place in a very central location. Dario in reception was amazing and very helpful planning our further travel the following day! Highly recommend
