    Great hotel

Hotel is in the heart of Shinjuku. Godzilla is a great extra piece to the hotel but it doesn't take over the hotel (unless you stay in the godzilla room). The pillows in the gracery properties is not the normal style pillows you'll find in US based hotels so if you need a firm/reg pillow, bring your own.

Too Small to Enjoy Great Location, Staff, Service

Good Service, Clean Rooms, Great Location... but the rooms are SO SMALL. I knew we were going to Tokyo and therefore we would be in tight quarters. We've traveled to several cities internationally... this was the SMALLEST by a wide margin. It was compounded by the fact that there was no storage room. Our stint in Tokyo was part of a two week trip (in winter, so more layers of clothes), so we had several bags. Not enough room to leave any of the bags on the floor... so we started unpacking. But when we unpacked, we quickly realized there is nowhere to put your stuff! They don't have drawers or cabinets anywhere. So I had all my clothes piled on the windowsill. My husband piled his clothes on the desk. When stuck in a tiny room, having all of your belongings in piles all around you really makes things seem even smaller. Then trying to find what you're looking for is difficult... it was just unnecessarily frustrating. There was also very little counter space in the bathroom. I ended up doing my hair and makeup sitting on the floor in front of the full length mirror in the entryway. I If I visited Tokyo again, I would not stay here. It's unfortunate because the staff was great and the location was convenient. But because of the tiny rooms and no storage, I've never been happier to pack up my bags and move on to the next hotel.
