The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very dark as it was painted and decorated in dark brown. It looked very worn in the bathroom with poorly grouted tiles around the bath. The lifts were sometimes very slow. The bedroom had a sea view but with all the other buildings being built in front of the Crowne Plaza the view was limited. This is not reflected in the information about the hotel.

A pleasant stay
Hotel front desk and house keeping service was good and prompt. Ample bottle drinking water. Room was spacious. Breakfast could be better by adding more choices and variety. Location is around 10 minutes walk to Doha City Center Shopping.

Visa stay in doha
Great location for a short break walking distance to plenty of local places or a relatively cheap Uber ride. Hotel facilities are good, breakfast could be improved but the omelettes were great.

Usually wonderful, little below par this time
I have stayed here many times over the last four years, during which it has changed its name three times. The rooms are excellent, well furnished and have the luxury of a plug socket right by the bedside so you can charge your device overnight. The bathrooms are modern and the shower is super strong. On the downside, this time, is the removal of a hairdryer – clearly people have been taking them home – replaced with card pledging “instant service” – mine took 45 mins to arrive and I was not pleased, having waited in to receive it. A decent hotel can’t seriously not have a hair dryer on demand! Oh, and one of the main towel was ripped – lets hope that’s not the new standard for Crowne Plaza. Not my best stay with them
