Nice Hotel Near the Kyoto Station
Nice hotel close to the Kyoto station. The front desk staff was great. The rooms are arranged around a central rectangle open to the outside air. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Fresh coffee is available all day because you grind the beans yourself and do a pourover, very tasty. They also have a free cocktail hour in the evening. My only complaint is that there are no electrical or usb outlets near the bed. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Ultimate in value, location, features & amenities
This is our 3rd time staying at Sakura Terrace The Gallery. It is our family's go to for accommodations in Kyoto. We stayed in April 2017, April 2019 and December 2022. It is just 2 blocks south of the Kyoto Station (Hachijo Exit) making it the ultimate in convenience. The room and bathroom are excellent in size relative to value. We stayed in room 2501 in the South Tower and our balcony view featured a perfect view of Toji Temples Pagoda. The hotel offers a free complimentary drink (both alcohol and non-alcohol) to all guests starting at 5pm. The on-site restaurant is a must due to the wonderful dishes, pricing, and impeccable staff. The free on-site onsen is an absolute gem. It's large, clean, bright, offers hot and cold bath options plus a sauna and has operating hours from 6am - 10am and 4pm through 1am. Trust me - your feet, muscles and joints will appreciate it after many days of exploring the many miles you will be walking exploring all of beauty that Kyoto has to offer. Book it and you will see why it has consistent high reviews
