Good country pub in the middle of Mackay.

Service leaves a lot to be desired
Would not recomend this hotel , no lights on entrance stairs, 2 lights in room not working, staff very rude when I required about my security deposit re enburstment, cheep and nasty, plenty better places to stay for a little more money.

Excellent location to Center of town, short walk t
I found the staff very friendly and willing to assist at all times. The food menu in the hotel is varied and also to an excellent standard. Well worth eating there.

Basic room close to the CBD
Basic room that was good value for the money. Comfortable mattress, clean linen, spotless shower and vanity sink. Stayed a couple of days and the room was serviced every day. Easy check in through the bar area. You can check out early despite what other reviews indicate.
