Fair, but not going back.
Reception was closed upon check-in and I had to phone them. The tv in the room had a remote that wasn’t working and the buttons on the tv itself were very hard to get to work also. Room was clean and beds comfy. At 9 a.m. a cleaner banged loudly on the door and asked, when I opened it, were we leaving yet. I said NO, not until 10 o’clock checkout time. They seem to need more in-house communication.

Good size clean room with comfy bed and couch. Very pleasant stay and easy walking to DFO and a Restaurant next door. Very quiet from outside and very little noise from floor above. Neighbouring howling dog wasn't too bad with bathroom door closed, but there's little that the Motel can do about neighbours. Staff very pleasant.

Room was clean, but very basic, no hand towel or face washer, lounge suite had seen better days. Saturday was horrible, Zic Zac had booked out the pool area for a Pool Party. I got back to my room just after two and the music was thump thump thumping, we went out for dinner and came back just before 9.30 and the music was still thump thump thumping, we had been told when we booked in that the music was from 2pm until about 7pm. My husband went down to see them as he was unable to get anyone to answer the reception phone and asked whom ever was in charge when the music would be finished, to be advised it would be 10pm. I rang the Police only to find that they are unable to help in the case of commercial premises. Eventually the music stopped just after 10pm, but we still had the noise of people talking and things being moved, you would just able drift off to sleep and then the noise would wake you. Spoke to reception on the way out and she has totally disinterested and belligerent about out complaint, said the music stopped at 8pm and all the people left the pool area ---- wrong they were still there and then the function was moving to the Lane Way (also a part of Nomad Motel), so the noise whether it came from the Pool Area or the Lane Way was still extremely loud. This Motel is advertised as a family motel, with family rooms, so why have something on that is disturbing for the guest especially on a weekend, I am sure there are a lot more suitable venues for this type

The propert had plenty of parking and an excellent Thai restaurant next door. However, it was unclean, rooms were not serviced, taps dripped, tiles falling off bathroom, bedbases broken, mouldy, toenail found in daughters bed- not hers, not enough kitchen items for number of people in room. It was quieter than expected though.
