Pleasant stay
Great location, approximately 15-17 minutes walk to tourist district. Friendly and helpful staff. When my sister and I arrived, our assigned room was not properly clean ( hair everywhere). We asked for another room. Front desk clerk was very kind and apologetic. Room was switched with no problem. Our stay was nice. Mattresses were lumpy and sink was small. Other than that, we had a great time. Btw, you don’t have to get breakfast at the hotel. There are plenty of breakfast options nearby.

Convenient location and great staff
We were in town for the Fringe festival, and this was a moderate price option and convenient location with slightly better amenities than older hotels near the Royal Mile (e.g. air conditioning). Friendly staff and very good service. But the room was teensy with zero storage space, and those trendy glass walls which means when one person uses the bathroom at 3am, the other person is awoken by the light shining through (a silly fashion I have seen elsewhere - perhaps the designer never actually has stayed overnight in their own creation).

Great location and comfortable place to stay
Convenient location and a modern clean interior. The hotel is a short walk from the station and the new trams run along the road connecting with the airport and Leith. Friendly staff throughout. My room had a huge comfortable bed and was a good sized space. The room was lovely and quiet. There is a new block that has been built behind the classic frontage so rooms are modern.
