Would NOT recommend 😕
Parked in motel car park on arrival. Room 19 bedroom & 2 single beds in the living area, no sofa or chairs. TV watching sat on a single bed, so uncomfortable TV isn't even on the wall straight. Notices on the wall saying no parties etc very unessesary. Felt very like student accommodation rules and regulations can be in the info book, not on the wall. On opening the door the whole place stank of cleaning products, opening door and windows & turned fan on, no air conditioning 😒 went out to eat, came back still stank, overpowering gave me a headache, discovered the toilet bowl had a freshener in it, removed & put in plastic bag. Smell lessened a little. I had a very bad night's sleep due to the cleaning fluid smell. The shower room is pristine, obviously newly done out 🙂 Problem with iron, lady gave me a brand new one straight from a box 🙂 👍 Motel is walking distance from town centre, shops, restaurants and museums etc 👍 It says on info first come first served on car parking, yet there were cones saving places when we returned in evening, so no where to park had to park on the road it's a busy road and we were un easy about parking our hire car there overnight. A cone was saving one space & the other empty space was too tight a gap to get into. We are travelling Oz and Nz for 3 months, staying in hotels, motels, and Airbnb's on our last 2 weeks now and stayed in lots, so lots of experience. Pay a bit extra & go elsewhere, this motel is for tradesmen not tourists 😒🙄
