Wonderful hotel in an excellent location. We had a room with a balcony. Large TV with some English channels. Kettle with coffee and tea. Shower was the most powerful I have ever come across…beware! Train station just across the road which will virtually get you anywhere in Berlin. Plenty of restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Would definitely stay here again.

6/10 Good

My stay at the Mercure Hotel Berlin Wittenbergplatz was very pleasant. The hotel is extremely well located — just steps away from the U‑Bahn and surrounded by a great selection of restaurants, bars, and shops. The area feels lively and safe, which made moving around Berlin very easy. Overall, a solid choice for anyone wanting convenience and a good neighborhood atmosphere.

10/10 Exceptional

Great location for shopping and in front of the U Bahn so easy to get around. Only fault I noticed was there is no vending machine for drinks/snacks should you get peckish in the wee hours....but wouldn't let this put me off staying there again as hotel is wonderful.

Overall everything was very good. Only area of improvement could be the variety of the food at breakfast.

10/10 Exceptional

Interesting and elegant fitout, lovely room, superb location, very nice and helpful staff. Only minor constructive criticism I can think of is that there was no espresso cups at the breakfast bar, so a short coffee wasn't really practical. But otherwise a superbly enjoyable place to stay with plenty of eating options nearby and u-bahn just across the square. Can recommend.
