We had tickets for a tour of Les Jardins des Quatre Vents a lovely private garden only open four days a year and Auberge A La Chouenne was in the perfect location for getting to it.
Our host could not have been nicer, although we don't speak French he knew quite a bit of English and we were able to communicate and had several fun conversations.
Our room was perfect, so spacious and comfortable. It had a little sitting area with two chairs where we sat and read or checked our email. The bathroom was beautiful and huge with an awesome shower and a jetted tub.
Breakfast was delicious, on the morning of our tour it even included flowers and was arranged beautifully.
