Great hotel for a quick stay
I stayed at Arlo Soho for a week. It was a wonderful stay. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The room is small but cozy for 1 person is more than enough. Location is good , lots of restaurants around , easy access to many places. The only little thing was that usually hotels allow 4pm check out for Amex card holders , but here 1 pm was the top. Which is not a deal breaker for me..

Good 6.0
ot the best, but not horrible.
I only stayed here for a few days. It is a nice hotel, I went while things were still opening up in NY so a lot of things were closed. But it is a good location to get to many different sites in the city. Some even in walking distance. There are two metro stations close by that can get you to your destination. I even took one to queens to fly home. As far as stay. If you like your home as clean as I do, this is not the place for you. It was uncomfortable for me and all I wanted to do was leave. ... my guess is there is a high turnover rate at this hotel. So deep cleans are probably not a priority. It’s loud on the weekends. Lots of young people. Smells like marijuana. — again if you can’t handle this. Not the place for you. The hotel manager is very professional. He seemed kind and is there often. This is a perk. Not many places have people like him there. There is no continental breakfast. And the hotel over prices everything. So if you are looking to save money. Water is cheaper at CVS and there is also a Trader Joe’s a few blocks away where you can grab snacks or whatever you need.

Poor 2.0
Terrible Service
When I first checked into the room I noticed that both the phone and alarm clock had no power. They sent a person up to replace the phone battery and plug in the clock. When it was time for bed I pulled back the comforter to find a enormous faded coffee stain on my he blanket. I was going to call downstairs to ask for replacement sheets but the phone which they had just replaced was broken again. It was late so I didn’t feel like going all the way down to the lobby. So I just removed the blanked from the bed. The next morning I woke up and told them at the lobby of my issue. They apologized and told me that my sheets would be replaced immediately. A maid had never came to change out the sheets or make the bed for the ENTIRE day no do not disturb sign was hanging on the door. So I am to believe the person at the lobby never told maintenance to clean my room which I requested. Especially during a pandemic you hate to see it. I will not be coming back and suggest outlets to avoid as well.

Arlo Soho, no bueno.
I most likely would’ve been able to give a better review but because of COVID I was told that I couldn’t receive room service. That was after I had to inquire after realizing it wasn’t done on my second day. I then requested the linen so I could at least have fresh ones and that still was never provided. The short of it is I had to stay with dirty (used) linen and a full trash for my 3 night stay. 😕

Very good 8.0
Everything was really good, the hotel, the room, but the receptionist gave me nightmares, she was so rude, disrespectful, and impatient. I felt really bad for dealing with her. Honestly I would have preferred somebody else to deal with.

Poor 2.0
False advertising
Terrible hotel. False advertising the rooms are extremely small and they don’t even give you wash cloth and they don’t have an ice machine. Please don’t be fooled by the picture you see on the website. Never staying here again.
