Room itself was a little tired and the air con was very loud, but for a budget was perfect for what we needed. The hotel staff were excellent, lobby etc was really nice and well refurbished, 24 hour bar and restaurant excellent and an amazing location. Happy was value for money.

The best thing about the hotel was the location. Close to shopping, restaurants/bars and attractions. Quite small room and bathroom but okay for us since we were out and about most of the time. The street outside was very busy and noisy so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Elisabeth Line runs just outside the hotel to London Heathrow. That was very convenient. I would book this hotel again and can recommend as a three star hotel.

It’s cheap and really well located for the centre of London. The rooms are tiny - they tell you they only change linens once every four days but they don’t change towels or clean the bathroom either! The lifts are overcrowded and slow

Very centrally located hotel - couldn't have been more convenient. Room for 3 adults tiny, small window and poor air conditioning. Do not provide cups coffee etc or a Kettle. Had to ask for a Kettle and hand towels along with many other guests. Lifts very very slow.Stayed room only so coukd not comment on breakfast.

Great location. Most standard hotel services come at an additional cost (daily room cleaning, luggage storage) but, if you know that ahead of time, then you’re not surprised upon arrival. I’d recommend staying here. The air conditioning was great during May’s heatwave. The renovated room was also a big plus.

Great location for the price and location The hotel needs a bit of maintenance and not having a kettle or iron in the room is a bit of a challenge IMO. However if you need a bed in the city, this was perfect. I would stay again, but honestly a kettle and iron in the room would go a long way

The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The building itself is run down and in need of love. The room i was in was small but functional. Definitely wasn't modern and the carpet was horrific but it was clean. For one night this was fun even without any AC but longer stays would have been difficult.

Not the hotel it used to be... We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past decade and have recommended it to friends and family. Sadly, our recent stay was a very different experience. The hotel has turned into an impersonal money machine, with self-check-in, little to no interaction with staff - not even a welcome or thank you, and additional charges for services that used to feel like part of the hospitality experience. Even basic things such as a hand towel were missing from the room. The room was also dirty, with trash from past guests in the corner. A real shame to see such a significant change and downgrade after so many years. We will unfortunately not be returning or recommending the hotel in the future. The hotel is reasonably priced and has a great location, but there are many similar alternatives in the area offering much the same - with the added benefit of clean rooms and making you feel welcome and appreciated as a guest.

Room was clean but learnt that they do not clean the rooms before day 4 of your stay. Otherwise no cleaning. No Aircondition in the room, not possibility to air out. So room became intorable warm. If changing room would be charged an extra fee. Luggage storage costed ekstra. Everything was self service, check in and out. Compared to how it was before the hotel has new owners.

Not a bad room for the price, clean enough, just a few negative points- no tea/coffee in room which I was surprised about, the ensuit floor had puddles of water when using the shower. My main issue was waiting around for the lifts for 5+ minutes only for it to be full and can’t get in and then wait for it to go then press call button again and wait another couple of minutes to squeeze into the next one.

2/10 Poor

The hotel is well located, but having to check in at 3 PM and check out already at 10 AM, and then pay an extra £20 to stay until 8 PM, honestly feels like a rip-off. It feels like the hotel is trying to make money on everything. The hotel was clean, but there was a strange smell and the room was cold. Overall, the atmosphere also felt quite cold and impersonal, as if the main focus was on making money rather than giving guests a good experience. And was noting quite at allllll. The check-in process was fine though, and very quick. Paying £200 for one night did not feel worth the money at all in my opinion. The hotel is probably better suited for school trips or larger groups of 10+ people rather than guests looking for a cozy or comfortable hotel experience

I arrived at this hotel and while check in was super and easy, with a helpful member of staff on hand to support, when I got to my room I was shocked and disappointed at the state of it. A huge dehumidifier was taking up most of the empty floor space and was noisier than a pneumatic drill; clearly there had been some kind of horrific leak. The carpet was still dirty and damp, the smell was horrible and there was a used dirty bath mat on the floor in the bathroom. The bathroom did appear to otherwise be clean but the overall state of the place - other than in public entrances - is in disrepair. I’d warn against staying here or check the state of the room you’ve booked before you arrive.

Location is the only thing that's good about this place. They way they try to rip you off is shamefull. I have never ever tried to have to pay for my luggage storage as a hotel guest. We had booked a room for three - the second bed wasn't ready. Okay mistake can be made, but the front service level was non existing. It was first when I got angry they agreed to fix the bed. Thank God they did - it had old bedsheets in it. The blanket that was left for us was old, never washed and smelled awful. A duvet was ordered and delivered after yet another rumble at the front desk. Im not picky or hard to please - but all I ask is reasonable service and a clean hotel room. Again the location is golden, the hotel is under maintained, the staff is trying, but turning this place around starts at the top. Good luck and bring ear plugs 😉

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and it's been going through upgrades since I believe new ownership; it's now a self-check-in, although there are staff in the reception to help. I was on this trip in one of the older 10th-floor non-refurbished rooms, described as an 'Executive Room'.... well, executive it isn't. Tiny, not the size specified on the website, and with amenities out of the 90s, a broken, empty fridge and a VERY narrow 'compact' double bed. A tiny old TV which would not work. When I arrived, there was a lack of towels and toilet paper, but I sent a WhatsApp message in response to the hotel's check-in WhatsApp, and these were brought up to the room within 30 minutes, which was great, thanks to a fantastic member of the house staff. If you do not have WhatsApp, I think you're snookered, as there is no telephone in the room at all, so the only way to talk to staff is via WhatsApp or to go all the way down to reception. There is also no room service! I have to say, the staff are always fantastic, but for £180 a night... I would hope for more!

Firstly, I found what appeared to be dried yellow-green mucus on the wall beside the bed. This was unpleasant and unhygienic, and I had to clean and disinfect the area myself using wet wipes. Secondly, the mini fridge in the room didn’t function well when I was out of the room. I suspected the electricity in the room was cut when I took out the key from the socket. After being away for the entire day, I returned to find that the fruit and drinks I had stored inside were only slightly cooler than room temperature. Some of the fruit was close to spoiling as a result. The sound insulation between rooms was very poor. Whenever guests in the neighbouring room opened their door, it sounded as if someone was opening my room door, which was both disturbing and unsettling. Finally, the staff member is very nice and helpful during the selfcheck-in process. She passed me the key as they did not put sufficient key in the self check-in counters. This is the only one time I chat with the staff members.

First impression of the room was that the decor was a little clinical - I was getting NHS vibes - so maybe not for a romantic getaway. It was perfect for me and my son though… two single beds, great central location, nice bathroom, tv, WiFi, air con and even a fridge! I would stay here again!
