Should have stayed longer
The Fijians are very warm and welcoming.

Lovely hotel which is small and so guests get to know the staff and vice versa. All the staff were cheerful, kind and helpful. Beautiful setting on a 2 km white sand beach with clear turquoise warm water. We were sad when it came for us to leave. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. If you are looking for glam and glitz though then this is not the place for you. The only downside to Fiji are the mosquitos so bring plenty of repellent. You will also need plenty of sun block.

Relaxing
Beautiful beach. Very relaxed atmosphere. Not much to do at the hotel itself other than enjoy being in paradise. Staff are very sweet and accommodating. Food was excellent. The resort needs some updates. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable but with significant wear and tear. It's about an hour drive from Nadi. The entrance road / driveway to the hotel itself is awful.

Could be really good...
Location is a handy hour's drive from Nadi. Located on the the best main island (Viti Levu) beachfront. Easy stroll to some nice snorkelling areas and surf for beginniners. The resort itself is laid back, though in desperate need of a refurbish. Rooms - they're all duplex with very little soundproofing, so every little sound from your neighbours (even the one opposite your front door) can be heard very clearly, especially at night. Bed was very comfortable, but the interior was worn. WiFi in rooms is extra cost...there is a TV as well but most of the channels don't work...Staff service was mixed - some were exemplary, others did not seem very happy. Food consisted of a limited menu of western, Indian, and Asian - best was the Asian menu, though it was unavailable for some nights during our stay. Housekeeping was a weak link - had days without various towels (bath towels, bath mats etc.) and what was supplied was worn, frayed (and with one, torn). The resort's information folder only appeared half-way into our week-long stay. A few decent massages at their spa (definitely go for the 3 for 100 deal). Could be an excellent resort with a little more tlc and attention to detail...

Relax and recharge
Yatule is a great resort located on beautiful Natadola Beach. It is off the beaten path so apart from the Intercontinental next door, there is nothing much else around. We stayed for seven days and loved our time there. We were really happy with our pool view bure overall however, the walls were so thin we could hear the people next door talking (or arguing, depending on the day), stirring coffee, clomping around in heeled shoes and slamming doors. Great if you want to keep tabs on your kids next door, not so great if you want some romantic time. It's a bit like shagging with your parents in the next room, quite funny really. The TV had only two channels while we were there so we read a lot. The bathroom was lovely but we did have water pressure and hot water issues - not enough for us to complain, we just had to be patient. The food was great. The lunch and dinner menus have enough choice that you don't have to repeat menu items. Breakfast is a buffet comprising fruit, pastries, toast and cereals plus you have the option of an item from the hot food menu. Note that - as with a lot of places in Fiji - soft drinks, water and alcohol are expensive so you might want to stock up before you go to the resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful and, when we had charges added to our bill for drinks that weren't ours, the lovely reception people fixed it. Perhaps they should ask to see a room key when people ask to add items to their tab.

wonderful beach front resort as room to improve.
We stayed 3 nights and there was a booking error the first 2 nights we were in beach front unit it was very nice. However we discovered our inroom refrigerator didn’t work after purchasing food from the market and stocking it. All our food went bad. We told the staff 3 times and they did nothing until the day we moved out. The units are lovely with wonderful views of the water. The 3rd night we got shifted to another unit right next door to the kitchen. The bathroom was dirty moldy shower and ceiling and shower that backed up and overflowed. This unit needed to be renovated. Some of the staff were wonderful happy to assist. The resort provides some inexpensive “tours and activities” that are nice but not staffed by experts. Our tour of the village by a hotel staffer was “sketchy” and the guide was completely misinformed about the village and was basically a trip to get tourist to purchase cheap imported trinkets. Same guide gave a session in Fijian history which was read from an iPad and finally went snorkeling with the same guide who was more concerned about catching his dinner with his speargun than watching his charges. Food was very expensive (especially alcohol) but at least very good quality. Recommend packing your own to supplement the meals. Plan to order the whole fish and the curries were delicious. The breakfast is also well worth the cost. Beware the car navigation will take you to the wrong location and road to the resort is very steep and narrow.

Amazing place! Now one of my favorite places on earth! Beautiful, peaceful beach, extremely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room right on the beach, reasonably priced, easy to get to from Nadi airport, delicious food at the restaurant. AMAZING spa with excellent prices. Sorry to leave here, but you absolutely should spend some time here.
