Friendly and helpful staff. Gave us a map of nearby attractions & shops, and recommended us the best time to visit Lake Matheson so we could get a nice reflection view of the mountains. Room was clean and spacious. Basic amenities available. There is a laundry room avaible too, costing NZD 2 each to use the washing machine and dryer. Satisfied with our stay here.

The service provided was outstanding, including the manager/owner taking time out from his busy day to advise me of the best options to eat, walk the dog, and local sites to see. I found the Motel to be a wonderful site for reflection and the setting is very powerful in nature. I would recommend to anyone as a great place to refresh the mind. I will be revisiting with family soon.
