Nice room - crappy guest service
We enjoyed the stay for the most part, but had several experiences that make it where we won’t be back. When we checked in the desk clerk told us the hours of breakfast. Which apparently he told me the weekend Hours and not weekday (I checked in on a Sunday night) so we didn’t get breakfast. I have arthritis so had to use the elevators and the employees were using the elevators to take mattresses to the second floor. And weren’t just using one elevator, but both of the main elevators that guests also use. I had to wait 15-20 minutes for an elevator. This is extremely unprofessional. If they waited until after check out time would be one thing. Even if they just used one elevator I would have been cool with it. Then the floor was wet from snow being dragged in from the elevators and I had to pray I didn’t fall because I was using canes to walk. I understand carrying mattresses up the stairs would have been miserable, but they could have done other considerations for their guests (I have carried many mattresses upstairs when I was a manager for a hotel). When I let front desk know about the breakfast she just blew me off and said “sorry”, so I didn’t bother with any more. It didn’t seem to matter to the employees to genuinely want to know my experience to help for future guests. I never complain on here and just normally deal. But the service sucked….and the beds weren’t that great either. Maybe that’s a good thing new mattesses were coming in.
