Avoid room 213 or nearby on 2nd floor
First night was horrible. The room (213) itself was great, but my sleep was disrupted by VERY LOUD AND CONSTANT MUSIC, which I first thought came from another room. When I actually realized that it came from a bar located just below my room, I called front desk and was told that the hotel was fully booked and I could not have another room. I was extremely dissatisfied as I had booked and prepaid this room months in advance. And my check-in was done in mid-afternoon, surely this was not the last room available at the moment. I honestly think that room 213 and other rooms located nearby should not be assigned to unsuspecting customers - the fact that there may be a noise issue should be disclosed at the time of check-in, without exception. The next morning, I went to the front desk to address the issue and they did not seem to be surprised at all as there have been other similar complaints made in the past. I was offered another room (upgrade for no additional fee), which was greatly appreciated as I was staying for 4 more nights on a business trip and really needed to rest well at night. Apart from this issue, everything was great, from the friendly staff, to the breakfast, the comfy mattress and pillows and the well-equipped kitchen in the room.

Clean, eco-friendly hotel
This hotel is an eco-friendly hotel which prides itself on saving energy with features such as water conservation. There is a master switch for the room that shuts off all power in the room excluding the refrigerator and bed side lights so when you leave the room you can conserve energy. Not only do these hotel rooms have a refrigerator, they have a full kitchenette with a microwave, sink, and Keurig with an assortment of coffee and tea. They also provide dishes to usesuch as cups, bowls and plates. The closet is large and contains ano ironing board, iron and safe. There is plenty of storage if needed for long term stays. The room is spacious and comfortable, with a nice desk to sit down at. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. The bathroom is spectacular. The shower has plenty of space (for one or two) and provides an oversized square shower head. No bath tub for those who like to take a bath. The location is off the beaten path but still very near the hustle and bustle. About a block away is a dunkin donuts and a liquor store. We purchased the city pass and visited the aquarium, Skywalk observatory and science museum during our stay and thought the distance to each from the hotel was great. There is off street parking available for $25 a day through the hotel, as well as street parking. Street parking is free for the rest of the weekend after 8:30pm on Saturday. The staff were encountered at the front desk were both helpful and friendly. Great experience!

Great hotel!
This hotel has great facilities and the gym is fresh and the complimentary breakfast was a great surprise. The pancakes were a great plus as a cook was preparing them for you! I was missing that extra customer service though, some of the front desk staff was great while others were not. My credit card was charged for the full stay again even though we had paid in advance through Expedia. When I bought this to attention the front desk first said everything was correct and argued that there wasn’t any hold for the room cost. When I showed her the hold on my credit card she called someone and confirmed that there was a hold on my credit card for the full stay. Turned out it was an error in the system and I was told it would be refunded, (which I was after check out). The attitude was that there was no problem without really hearing me out. I work in hotels myself and therefore I know that it can occur problems and it is how you go about the problem that is most important. Otherwise the hotel is great and just a short walk to beautiful seaport.

Great stay at Seaport District
Great hotel and we found it a very good price. The facilities are great, super clean and the personnel is really kind and courteous. We found it really well located (Seaport District) with good options to get around. It is not exactly in the middle of the majority of most visited places but you can use public transportation to move around. For us it was the "T" with World Trade Center station less than 5 blocks (0.5mile) from the building but you can take the bus (Summer St @ D St) or walk to Broadway station (0.9mile) as well. You can get to any place from there catching the silver line at WTC. The silver line (SL1) is free from the Airport to South Station so you can just take it to World Trade Ctr and walk to this great hotel. You can find great places to eat in the area and if you're in a business trip this is a great place to stay as it is close to the Convention and Exhibition Center and the Financial area. Our room was standard and it was awesome. Good space, great bed, clean and well equipped with a small kitchenette. They offer a fairly good complementary breakfast and free wifi with a decent connection. Laundry room, fitness center, pool and small food store as well.

Fair 4.0
This hotel is nice unless you plan to actually sleep. It is nicely located along D street but is quite close to the D lawn, where there are nearly daily shows that can last quite late during the evening and are loud. If that doesn’t get you, then the piano bar from the hotel right across the alley certainly will. In that case, loud music and the shouts of revelers will keep you awake until at least 2 o’clock in the morning. Breakfast offerings are reasonable, but the bread box is often empty before you get a chance to get a serving. The toasters are too few and it takes forever to toast your slice. The coffee machine is often out of service. In the afternoon, they will have a happy hour with free wine or beer. The dispensing machines are also often out of service however. Lastly, housekeeping staff are loud, and if you are in the room at the time, will ask for every item of service before they will actually provide it. Overall, conveniently located, clean, but service and breakfast are disappointing, not to mention the inability to get a good nights sleep. I would not recommend.
