The rooftop is perfect for taking in the view and being in the pool all day. Then every morning it was fun to go walk over to the beach house to get breakfast. The patios were so fun for morning coffee and reading. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

HORRIBLE SERVICE
I stayed in Thompson for 4 days 3 nights. Wifi didn't work for 2 days. Phone in room didn't work so I had to go down to the front desk to make requests. Housekeeper did not replace items (shampoo, body wash, towels, cups, utensils etc) after house keeping and I had to request 3 TIMES and it took over an hour for the staff to bring me towels. Staff didn't replace the cups and utensils as requested so I had to go to the rooftop restaurant to get it myself. The rooms are nice and the location is great but the service is HORRIBLE and is the worst hotel service I've ever had. I will not recommend this hotel because of the horrible service. There are plenty of hotels in the same area that are equally as nice for the same price, I suggest you look into those hotels in order to have a good vacation and not deal with the incompetent management at Thompson.
